Las Terrenas is a town located on the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, in the province of Samaná. It is known internationally for its high index of tourism and its beaches of white sands and clear waters.
Among the visitors most frequented in the area are Europeans mostly Spanish, Italian, French and German, as well as American tourism, which continues to grow.
One of the most known villages or communities in the area is the fishermen’s village. Its name is because the town was previously mostly populated by fishermen.
